Enrichment Program
Enrichment Program
The Enrichment Program allows students to become independent learners, improve their leadership and communication skills, and explore aspects of their personal development through the internationally recognised Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Year 7 and 8 students in the program complete The Compass award and year 9 students complete the Bronze award. All students are encouraged to apply for an exciting position in the Enrichment Program and are selected based on their willingness and ability to extend their learning.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award and Compass award is a flexible, interesting and fun-packed program for young people between the ages of 14 and 25 to participate in a number of activities over a set length of time. It is entirely voluntary and is structured so the participants can design their own unique program centered around their interests and passions. There are 4 components to each award.
